Prosthetic components need rigidity in order to securely fit the patient and provide stability while walking and standing. However, that rigidity limits twisting and turning, which can be a natural part of everyday living.

Torsion adapters provide a solution by permitting some rotation, but still providing the support and stability your patient needs. The adapters are available in a variety of models for both people with below knee or above knee amputations.
