"Life’s too short to sit on the couch and watch it go by."

Scott is living his life to the fullest. He gets up at 5:00 a.m. each day with a busy schedule in front of him. Scott works as a Product Support Specialist for Otto Bock Health Care. His job and family keep him active and on the go. At the end of the day his residual limb has been given a real workout.
Twenty-eight years ago, a young Scott became a transfemoral amputee in a battle with cancer. Scott not only triumphed over cancer, but as a young man he triumphed in swimming, hunting, fishing, golf, and even became an Eagle Scout.
As an adult, he has continued his active lifestyle – he enjoys golf, hunting, fishing rock-climbimg and other outdoor activities. Scott reports his socket system allows him to be on his feet much longer than his old prosthetic system. On hunting trips, he can walk over difficult terrain, and keeps his prosthesis on for long periods of time without any problems.
Scott wears the TEC® Custom Urethane liner, the TEC Double Wall Socket, the Otto Bock 3R80 knee and Otto Bock Health Care’s revolutionary Harmony® Socket Management System.
