1M10 Adjust

In the 1M10 Adjust, Otto Bock has developed a foot that can be readily adapted to the individual needs of the amputee – quickly and easily.

1M10 Adjust – Mobility with Stability

At a glance

  • Stable stance, even when weight is transferred between the prosthesis and the sound limb
  • Multi-axial behavior to compensate for uneven surfaces
  • Adjustable heel stiffness for adaptation to the individual requirements and gait pattern of the amputee without the need for realignment of the prosthesis
  • Light weight construction
  • Suitable for mobility grade 1 and 2*
  • Attractive and functional footshell with removable connection cap comes in 2 versions – normal shape (heel height 10 mm ± 5 mm | 3/8˝ ± 3/16˝) and small shape (heel height 20 mm ± 5 mm | 3/4˝ ± 3/16˝).

More stability, more mobility, more individuality

After the amputation, the patient mainly wants to regain the ability to stand and walk securely. Taking part in day-to-day life once again is the goal. The 1M10 Adjust helps the prosthetic user to reach this goal:

  • Improved stability under changing loads and when walking on different surfaces.
  • Easy rollover for physiological, gentle walking.
  • Easy adaption of heel stiffness, foot shape and foot color to suit the users individual needs.

It is suitable for people who spend most of their time indoors and only venture outside occasionally.

The 1M10 is suite for patients with mobility grade 1 or 2 - indoor walkers and restricted outdoor walkers - according to the Otto Bock MOBIS® mobility system. Weight limit is dependent on foot size (please see order form).

The natural load line runs approximately 6 cm in front of the ankle joint during relaxed standing.

Stable stance

Normally, the natural load line runs approximately 6 cm in front of the ankle joint during relaxed standing. Our engineers have developed an innovative design for the Adjust: A multi-axial joint positioned at the load line.
Thanks to this design, the user is able to maintain a stable standing position – regardless of the proportion of the body weight supported by the prosthesis. Shifting weight from one leg to the other, as well as forward and backward shifts of the body’s weight on the foot, have only a minimal effect on standing stability.

Thanks to its multiaxial joint and the flexibility of the function module and forefoot-ball pad, the Adjust effectively compensates for surface irregularities.

Multi-axial behavior

Standing and walking securely require a good foundation, which in turn demands that the foot adapts to the ground. Thanks to its multiaxial joint and the flexibility of the function module and forefoot-ball pad, the Adjust effectively compensates for surface irregularities. This allows the amputee to maintain a stable standing position on a variety of surfaces and easily handle irregularities while walking.

The adjustable function module of the Adjust allows individual heel characteristic requirements to be taken into account when optimizing the prosthesis.

Individual heel characteristics

The adjustable function module of the Adjust allows individual heel characteristic requirements to be taken into account when optimizing the prosthesis. The adjustments can be done without the need for alignment changes to the prosthesis. Elaborate, time-consuming trial fittings which are strenuous for the user are reduced.

The Adjust allows for three different configurations: The pre-set configuration 2 provides a moderate heel strike. Configuration 1 provides a soft heel strike and configuration 3 a firm heel strike.
