Cold Therapy can reduce localized pain and soft tissue swelling that results from surgery or trauma. Compression Therapy improves circulation and helps reduce the risk of clot formation. With our Game Ready® System, you get both in one device!

What is Cold Therapy?
Cold Therapy is a non-invasive and highly effective way to control pain and edema (swelling).
Clinical studies show that the use of cold therapy post-operatively helps:
• to decrease the loss of blood (hemarthrosis)
• reduce the complications from edema (swelling)
• reduce pain
• reduce muscle spasms
• reduce the use of analgesics - while at the same time increasing the speed of healing for the wound site and helping to improve the range of motion for the joint.
What is Compression Therapy?
Intermittent compression devices compress and release pressure around an extremity, usually the leg, ankle or foot. This non-invasive, mechanical pumping action improves venous and lymphatic circulation and helps reduce the risk of early clot formation.
The stimulated circulation also reduces the chance of Deep Venous Thromboses (DVTs) and complications of venous stasis if you are not able to walk after trauma, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, or other illnesses.
Our compression devices have two components - the pump and an inflatable garment.
The electrical pump unit intermittently pumps air into and out of an attached single-use inflatable garment. The inflatable garment is soft, pliable and washable, and has been designed to prevent pinching or chafing.
Game Ready
Game Ready system combines both Cold and Compression therapy into a single, easy-to-use device. It is normally used post-operatively for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, and for procedures where you might be advised to follow the R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) regimen. The Game Ready system allows you to easily adjust pressure, manage temperature and select treatment time settings.
